How does the free plan work?
Free users can complete up to 3 video downloads per calendar day. The allowance resets daily.
What changes with Premium?
Premium removes the daily download limit for $2 per month. All other core features stay available on both plans.
Does Media Catcher upload my videos?
No. Detection, previews, and supported stream processing happen locally in your browser. Premium verification sends only your license key to the license API; Stripe handles billing details.
Does it work with every website?
No. DRM, encrypted streams, separate audio/video tracks, and sites that prohibit downloading are not supported.
What am I allowed to download?
Only save content you own or have permission to download. You are responsible for following site terms and applicable law.
